Friends of friends of friends

As I prepare to leave (this evening), I realize that this has become the organizational theme of this project: Friends and friends of friends and friends of friends of friends.

I didn't start with that concept, but that's what it's become. I didn't contact activists from organizations unless they were referred by someone I know, or try to find a balance of views, but let the web of acquaintanceship lead me.

So, I'm off to Israel with names and addresses, gathered not by random, but not quite by design. I am looking forward to some interesting conversations!
