Proceeds will be used to support the indigenous communities in Chiapas.

Chiapas Coalition ¹98 was formed in response to the 1997 massacre of 45 unarmed indigenous (mostly women and children) by paramilitaries at Acteal, a remote village of Chiapas, the southernmost Mexican state. Chiapas Coalition '98 commemorates its sixth anniversary with a panel composed of those who vistied acteal immediately following the massacre in December of 1997. A second panel will includes those who have just returned from visiting the communties inChiapas on the tenth anniversary of the Zapatista uprising in Chiapas, Mexico January 1, 1994.
